I got a complete H.P.Lovecraft collection on Kindle for 99 pence. That's value for money!
I just dip into it now and again in between other books, rather than reading lots of stories at a time, so it should last me a while.
I recently picked up what I take to be the complete works, spread over 6 collections (Ballantine editions). I was thinking of doing an HPL binge, but yeah, there's such a thing as overkill! I'll probably break it up with some other reading. I think these collections are roughly in chronological order; so far there hasn't really been an a Mythos story, except for The Festival maybe, which features The Necronomicon.
I get the usefulness and value for money of the Kindle, but I'm a bit of a Luddite when it comes to books! Nostalgically attached to the physical form I guess...
I'm just short of shelf space.
Thats my excuse and I am sticking to it. I simply cannot afford the warehouse I would need for all the hardcopy.
Apes of Wrath. Ever read "The Willows"?
