I feel you man, the second disc really shows that they hurried the production. If the second disc was as great as the first disc play through, the game will be even more epic!

Fixed. The game was still epic.

Honorable mentions:

No it didn't, hater.

It was different, but awesome. People just hate it when series are taken to new directions. I love Metroidvanias as much as everyone else, but I appreciate a good game when I play one. LoS was a great game.

Well, let's agree to disagree because LoS wasn't good. And not even because it wasn't Castlevania. It looked pretty, but it played like a broken God of War and you fought the same 5 enemies through most of the game. Believe me I tried to like that game, I really did. I tried to like the other 3D ones on PS2...Castlevania just doesn't translate well to 3D. Uhm, Castlevania 64, anyone?

Don't feel bad, I have several friends that loved LoS and tell me I'm dumb for not liking it. Just my opinion. I still think it sucked.

1) Fallout (The original)
2) Fallout 2
None of the other Fallout games captured the same mood as the original.
3) Final Fantasy 7
4) Jagged Alliance 2
5) Don`t have a 5th choice yet-

Holy crap, how could I forget Super Mario RPG? That replaces Star Ocean 2 on my list. Oh yes. Geno, Mallow, and Booster need to come back!

X2.  While the Mario RPG games made since then have been pretty good, they haven't captured the magic of the original(in my opinion of course).  Maybe, Square and Nintendo can team up and produce a true sequel for the Wii U or for the 3DS at least.
