1. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
2. Dark Cloud
3. Persona 4
4. Ever17
5. Morrowind

Not really fair though, I love tons of RPGs and my top 5 always changes as I go back to play them ^_~

I guess my list would look something like:

1. Chrono Cross (Hands down my favorite game ever)
2. Final Fantasy VI
3. Final Fantasy VII
4. KOTOR 2
5. Fallout New Vegas

Everything after Chrono Cross can change from time to time, but Chrono Cross will likely stay at the top of my list forever.

Wow this is like an impossible task.

1. Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (or Afternoon of Darkness)
2. All of the other Disgaea games
3. Dark Cloud II
4. Xenosaga (series. Second game is a ****pile, but the third more than makes up for it)
5. Tales of Symphonia

Honorable mentions, in no particular order:
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time; Final Fantasy VII; Final Fantasy VI; Fallout 3; Skyrim; Mass Effect series; Yggdra Union; Persona 3 FES; Persona 4; R-Type Command (the extent to which this is an RPG vs just a strategy game is debatable, but I'm putting it here for completion purposes); Knights in the Nightmare.

Reading this thread really makes me want to dig up my copy of FFVI, since I'm pretty sure if I played it now it would end up making the cut. Mostly because of Kefka.

Best memories of PvP still to this day.. Guild Wars 2 is the closest to it but still not quite there yet

Aye! I have GW2 friends telling me all about it.. but I don't buy into the hype anymore. Time can only tell.

I played on Guinevere / Albion / Armsman / Infiltrator

Hib/Perc, but I swear I played Alb/Guin for a while, as did some friends (Keb, Seter).

Alright! It's nice to see people that got to play a PvP legend

I feel you man, the second disc really shows that they hurried the production. If the second disc was as great as the first disc play through, the game will be epic!

4. Demon's Souls

Or... I could have just put Xenogears in all 5 slots.

Good man. While not my favorite Final Fantasy game, I do have a lot of love for Final Fantasy V. I just love all the classes it has. It's probably why I like Final Fantasy X-2, actually.
