Aghora - Formless

Floridian progressive/jazz metal band (Featuring Santiago Dobles, Sean Reinert of Cynic/Death, Alan Goldstein, Diana Serra, Giann Rubio). Their latest release was Produced by Santiago Dobles and Neil Kernon (Queensyche, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Judas Priest, Nevermore). Formless and their self-titled release set the standard for female fronted Metal & Progressive Music.

It's my first listen and I love it already. Supposedly their other album is said to be even better. If you do like this, then check out To-mera as well. Exile and Delusions would be the first two To-mera albums to try.

This is why I sometimes really love MOG. It gives me the chance to try random unlimited artists and albums for $5 a month. It's a great way to discover new music, then when I find something I really like I buy it.

EDIT: I'm now listening to the first Aghora album. It is just as good, maybe better than "Formless". It is recorded more live and raw like a demo, while "Formless" sounds like a normal more processed studio recording. The first self titled recording is still of quality though, as is the music itself. I'm happy to have discovered another great band.
