Is it me, or is someone doing a Gould (Goldberg variations) and humming on this recording? On my HE-6 it brings out some close mic placements and I can swear I can hear someone humming along.

Or I may be just going mad

Tell me which tracks yo hear it on.  I recently have fallen out of love with headphone use and back into love with speakers and have probably not listened that closely or with enough volume.

Ok. Listen to Track 3, Tuba Mirum. From 0:16 - 0:58. Particularly at 0:28-0:32.    0:41     0:54   1:10-1:12 and 2:22 -2:23

I think I hear it more because my definitive version is a Naxos recording. But I've been looking out for a new version.

Edit:

That (LSO) recording is now officially doing my head in. I can't listen to it now without thinking "Was that a hum?".

I listened to the track on the LCD-3's.  I hear now what you are talking about.  Someone is making sounds.  Could it be the conductor?
