Cheers guys.  The interplay of soprano and cornet on this album is, at times, sublime.
 
It's interesting that after all the other crazy stuff I listen to, I can always return to the musical purity of the early Baroque (period instruments and techniques) to get grounded again.

Awesome album!  It rocks hard and the lyrics are terrific.

The sound is excellent, and the extra tracks actually add to the experience. This is one awesome CD.

"Blessed" by Lucinda Williams.
 
Not sure what to think of this newest release, yet.  Either it's the fact that maybe I don't align with her music anymore or the fact that I'm having to use earbuds here in the office with a portable non-amped player.  The listening is causing some fatigue.  I'll have to try out her release again at home on the main system with the regular headphones to see what I think.

Get some PK1s and then you've got nice earbuds, too!.
