Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion

That's cool, thanks for understanding. Nice art too

I think Bob's is the Porcupine Tree album Fear Of A Blank Planet. Never heard it myself. I just remember things I see.

Me too, and thanks; that's what thought it was.  I know I'm a pain in the a** sometimes, but I do it for everyones benefit, not just mine

Sometimes I wonder if being able to recognise a cover shot lacking relevant info is a test of relative coolness.  Cooler if it's not imo...

Still stuck on that Necks live in Bologna.  Listening to The Necks perform is like being on an audible equivalent of morphineXecstasy. Pure pleasure.  Music without ego.

Voted "Best Band to Play at the End of the Universe"

NO YOU!

But seriously, I'm off tomorrow too.

Now listening to Neurosis - Eye of Every Storm

Another one of my top 5 albums of all time, and the biggest grower of an album I've ever heard.

That's a good recommendation that I will be checking in due course.  I like growers.  They usually stick around for a while.

Listen to the album in the middle of a big thunderstorm, it's quite the experience. At first, I hated the album (and Neurosis

), but now they are my favorite band. If you can see them live, do it. They put on a hell of a show, even in their 40s.

Listening to the Isis/Melvins split

Isis -  Live 4 2001 - 2005 CD

The Jam - That's Entertainment

Ian Dury And The Blockheads - Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick (12"version)

Squeeze - Up The Junction

Elvis Costello - Shipbuilding

Joan Armatrading - Love And Affection

The Specials - Ghost Town

This town, is coming like a ghost town
All the clubs have been closed down
This place, is coming like a ghost town
Bands won't play no more
too much fighting on the dance floor

Do you remember the good old days
Before the ghost town?
We danced and sang,
And the music played inna de boomtown

This town, is coming like a ghost town
Why must the youth fight against themselves?
Government leaving the youth on the shelf
This place, is coming like a ghost town
No job to be found in this country
Can't go on no more
The people getting angry

This town, is coming like a ghost town
