Artist: Magic Frankie and Kaz Lux
Album: Hearts in Sorrow
...
...
Insanely good.
Dutch blues god doing some laid back and very "living room" sounding tracks ...
Of special note?
The song, "Cannibals" ... sung like he's on the verge of crying and with such wondrous acoustic guitar and accordion backing ...
"Hey you cannibals!
You never did any good!
You only do it for the glamour,
you only do it for the loot!
Hey you cannibals!
You never did any good ..."
Oh my. Where do people/writers come up with such wonders? (of course, you'd have to hear the delicate and meandering bit of acoustic music that backs those words up to understand ... so look them up!)
