In 1983, I think, about two years before that album was released I saw Cabaret Voltaire play in the Electric Ballroom in Camden in London. It was actually the first time I had seen a group from the world of electronica and very exciting because for a couple of years I'd been playing a lot of this genre, I had the LPs "The Voice of America", "Red Mecca" and the 12" singles "2x45" amongst others, all had seen a lot of playing. Not long before I saw them play "The Crackdown" LP was released and I think that is now a classic.

Surprised to find Zac Brown who reminds me of Jimmy Buffet.
And the earliest Delaney & Bonnie recording I’ve heard.
