Now That's how to play the GD guitar ... wow!
For today, music inspired by @finbad and @gljus. Thanks, mates.
Their first album and very much about Al Kooper, who left the band after this
album. He composed and sang most of the songs here. He also played the
ondioline - an early synthesizer with unique tonality. Kind of a Chicago vibe
with multiple horns including Randy Brecker. A solid rhythm section of Jim
Fielder bass and Bobby Colomby drums.
Some folks are credited with making "animal sounds," you know that will
be interesting. After "Pet Sounds" and "Sgt. Peppers", anything was fair game.
This album introduced the vocalist David Clayton-Thomas and was a big
success - 10M copies sold and five Grammy awards. They replaced Randy
Brecker with Alan Rubin on trumpet. The sound is more polished than was
the first album.
No review of BS&T is complete without this song.
The band is performing at Zekaem, which is a children's school of music in
Zagreb, Croatia.
Song composed by Charles Mingus. The band is powerful and sounding great.
From 1968, 1969 and 2005. HD800 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>
