What Are You Listening To Right Now?

I really like what they've done with the "Machine Head" remixes. I compared passages of the remixes with the original remasters and the stage and layout of the instruments and vocals are very different, sounds "current" in a good way.

I remember having the same feeling with "Marillion - Clutching At Straws " 2018 Remix. And Fugazi 2021.

The Beatles remixes are awesome too but more subtle, they just fix the hard pannings and other aspects (housekeeping).
And those are my two favorite Marillion albums. They are wonderful.

Thank you, Mister Mudd! I'm not sure the gigs themselves were kinder and gentler, though; even Genesis could be a bit rough!

LOL, I wonder did someone ask him why he had to go and piss off Peter?

Hah!! I imagined that was his response to somebody repeatedly shouting "Where's Peter?"...

There's just so much to the album it's a lot to digest, but Jolene, Blackbiird, and the little bit of Patsy Cline's I Fall to Pieces (on Sweet Honey Buckin) are some of my favorites. Crazy mix of genres and amazing vocals. The ZMF Atrium feels like it was designed for this album or vice versa. Album is so much better on headphones than in my car.

Huey Lewis & the News - Small World

Not their best album, but the first album I ever purchased on CD that I still have to this day. Purchased along with my first CD player that was a crappy Panasonic boom box with a 4-band equalizer and a cassette player.

Over the years the CD has been ripped to different formats. Various mp3 bitrates, AAC, Mini-Disc ATRAC, and finally lossless Flac.

I got the vinyl box set of King Crimson 1969 - 1972, and look at how the debut showed up; the Schizoid Man was terrified of being consigned to the inner gatefold!! I've gone on KC forums and such and I've only ever seen one other reference online to somebody who got one like this; dunno how rare it is or if it's worth anything more...
