Not sure how many of you Baroque fans know about Carlos Seixas. He was one of the most accomplished Portuguese composers at the time. He was also a talented musician. When Domenico Scarlatti was appointed to be his harpsichord teacher, after hearing him play for the first time, he just said "You can give me lessons".
