( "What" follows is only included because "Context" is important as to what is being listened to )
Just finished streaming Beatles 2023 Red & Blue Qobuz @ 96k Aurender server (audioquest cinnamon usb cable) up sampled T&A DAC ( Cardas Reference XLR) Audio Research LS-17se hybrid tube preamp ( Cardas Reference XLR) Pass Labs x-150.8 (Cardas Reference speaker cables) Audio Physic Avantti (86 efficient) @ 54db - 74db peaks - and all I can say is that this is the best sound quality I have yet to experience.

Astonishingly great sound quality - love it!
Just as many have said here in this thread'
Just ordered both the CDs along with 2019 Martin remix of Abby Road as now I have a reference baseline to compare streaming v hard copy CD using OPPO 103 which is highly regarded as transport. Fun Fun Fun

As Richard wrote, if only more of our favorite artist were to be given their art this treatment. :L3000:

How 'bout them Celtics

I actually have all the Missing Persons LPs, didn't think there was anybody else besides the band members who ever heard of them!

There is also a movie, Lunch Wagon, where Dale and Terry had roles. Hysterical 1980s B-Movie. Get drunk and watch it one evening :)
They're still crankin' 'em out - I see they released one this year with Billy Idol's guitarist Steve Stevens, and they also released a live album this year from the Warfield Theater in San Francisco in 1982. I didn't go to that gig, but I remember it happening.... 'Walkin' In LA' is a great song....

New York State of Mind - Billy Joel

Even though Billy Joel wrote it, I like Ben Sidran's cover more, it's on his Free in America album. Give it a listen if you like the song. :)

I think they played on Zappa albums or he on theirs, can't remember which. Definitely very good musicians and very weird people! Probably nothing new there :p

Well done, and nice gear you have right there! Only the best recordings will suffice!! Giles has released deluxe re-mixed versions of the albums Revolver, White Album, Sgt. Peppers and Abbey Road. I'm hoping for Rubber Soul next (since half the songs are already done, and on the Red album). It's amazing what that technology is turning out. Happy Listening! :)

For today - albums nominated for Grammy Awards.
