What Are You Listening To Right Now?

This photo of the late, great Andy Gill and 3 others of mine are in the book that comes in the Go4 box set; they were taken at the Geary Temple/Temple Beautiful in San Francisco in 1979 when they were supporting Buzzcocks. They remembered that show so well they even gave it its own chapter in the book....

I saw Sensational Alex Harvey Band with Styx perform at a high-end hi-fi show, of all things, in San Francisco in 1974....

Anyway, there are two more Miles Mo-Fi SACDs I'm looking to get to complete my "want collection" - Sketches in Spain, and 'Round About Midnight. That would add to the...
  • Porgy and Bess
  • Bitches Brew
  • Kind of Blue
  • In a Silent Way
  • Miles Smiles
  • Sorcerer
  • On The Corner.
  • Nefertiti
Though my top 5 in no particular order would be Porgy and Bess; Kind of Blue; In a Silent Way; Bitches Brew; and Sketches in Spain :L3000:
Well, I just got this in today. Listening to it now, and it sounds wonderful as all Mo-Fi releases do, though Kind of Blue and In a Silent Way are still tops for me.

Anyway, this particular purchase completes my Mo-Fi CD collection in which I wanted for my five favorite Miles albums....

I think most Miles fans would have 4 of those (in no particular order) - Kind of Blue, Bitches Brew, In A Silent Way, and Sketches of Spain in their top 5. Most would probably have A Tribute to Jack Johnson in that top 5 instead of Porgy and Bess. Won't argue that; I just prefer Porgy and Bess there, Jack Johnson would 6 in my top 10. That's me.

Before I forget, be aware the Mo-Fi's SACD releases are of the original album release: all those other CDs with extra tracks, that's not these. If you want extra / alternate tracks, look elsewhere. Also, why I'm holding onto my other releases. You also don't get the in-depth booklets found with the Columbia Legacy releases. Just FYI.

The reason I love these Mo-FI SACD releases (even though I don't have a SACD player) is because they have an analog sound about them and are very quiet and clean. And definitely not loud. A complaint I hear often about some audiophile CD releases.

Thoughts are most definitely welcomed
