Up there with my favourite albums of all time. I still remember clearly a good friend of mine giving me a loan of it on cassette when we were about 14 in the early 90s - we were both big into The Smiths, The Cure etc at the time, and Spiritualized completely new - loved them immediately, and still often listen all these years later.

It reminds me the most of other 'shoegaze' stuff, which is far and away more my wheelhouse than anything from the 80's.
80's is something I dabble in... some Cure, some Julian Cope... hell, Style Council, Annie Lennox... it's all good
