My favorite Fish album, produced by Steven Wilson, who also co-wrote a bunch of songs and played on it. When this came out, I'd never even heard of Porcupine Tree or Steven Wilson. I think I saw Fish on this tour at the same small venue where I later saw Porcupine Tree for the first time.

From the first night of the Who's Quadrophenia tour, in San Francisco in November of '73; this was the show where Keith Moon passed out...
The Who - Quadrophenia. Just arrived today. 2012 DSD transfer. The nice thing about this being on the SHM-SACD, it's all on one disc! No need to get up halfway through to change discs

Hiromi Fan here as well. Absolutely love Rhapsody in Various Shade of Bue off here Spectrum CD. 23 minutes of joy in layered piano play. I never get tired of that tune.
Mine. All those are my CDs rips. The hi-res is Move CD is the 24-bit/192kHz download I bought. Still prefer the CD as I think the hi-res files sounds a bit too "digital".
Also love 11:49 PM on Move. Lot of stuff I like of hers. Very creative and daring.

Music recorded in 1956 then released as four albums in 1957, 1958, 1959 and
1961. All four feature the same musicians - Miles' First Quartet - as shown on
the Workin' album cover. Very much still in his acoustic stage; Miles was also
releasing much more music from 1957 to 1961, including a collaboration with
Gil Evans. His electric period was still to come. HD800 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~>

Congrats on the UHQCD. Let us know how it sounds.
So UHQCD is just a “higher” quality manufacture process for the CD? But it still plays in a standard CD player? I’ve never even heard of itWill do. That's my first one. Usually Mo-FI, SHM, Blu-Spec, or XRCD, or Japanese releases. No UHQCD. I wanted to get this - A Love Supreme - SHM Paper Sleeve, but it's stated they won't play on standard CD Players.
SHM CDs play on standard CD players as I've a few of them. Hybrid SACDs play on standard CD players, but I guess that's a pure SACD disc. Bummer cause I would have loved a paper sleeved version. Did find a paper sleeved SHM version but the cost was too high as I would have also had to pay for shipping from Japan.
Ah... the fantastic four from the Mile Davis quintet of Miles Davis: trumpet; John Coltrane: tenor saxophone; Red Garland: piano; Paul Chambers: bass, cello; and Philly Joe Jones: drums. A classic set that any Miles Davis fan should have.

Going the other way, I listened to it on Spotify and like it so much I ordered this UHQCD...
Can't wait to get it. And I do think it worthy of comparison to Kind Of Blue, though I'm with you, Kind Of Blue is at the top of the mountain.
And BTW, I meant no disrespect in my reply to you. And would welcome any thoughts you have on this album (CD).
Do you have Miles Davis Kind of Blue, if so how would you compare it to "A Love Supreme"?
Strange idea to compare these two albums, at least in my book...
Personally, for me A Love Supreme is an umatched, sublime masterpiece GOAT album on a totally unique level of intensity...
Just my 5c of course.
