What Are You Listening To Right Now?

This thread is "What Are You Listening to Right Now." It's not a recommendation thread, it's reality. With streaming, especially, it's easy to discover a wealth of new to me music. Many of my listens come from music y'all have posted previously - and thank you.
Which is exactly what my posts have been. As in the last post on the previous page. A bit confused what the issue is 🤷‍♂️

Edit: My conclusion from today is that I've learnt to appreciate modal jazz like "A Love Supreme" during the last several months, today's listen was a revelation to me. The music speaks, without words ... it's quite amazing that Coltrane found peace at the end of the journey. What it's about.
As said, I'll be picking up a copy as soon as find a good audiophile CD edition of it.

Thanks for mentioning it up

That's exactly why I'm listening again. Plus, I know that Harry Bosch likes it, and I wanna be like Hieronymus. Don't we all?

ps. "To each their own" is the whole idea with music and with this thread. We're not all supposed to agree. Also, I often post what I will listen to without having heard it before ... OMG! At times, I won't like the music and then I make a comment to that end. It's a learning process ... and, happy listening! :)
Btw, I didn't mean "to each their own" in a nasty way at all. I can see how it might have been taken that way. I simply meant we all have different preferences.

Its also perfectly reasonable for someone to not like A Love Supreme as well. I don't understand what too modal means, but like you, I don't want to get too into the weeds here.

Anyway, hope that clears up any misunderstandings, because I really appreciate your posts in this thread.

Going the other way, I listened to it on Spotify and like it so much I ordered this UHQCD...

Can't wait to get it. And I do think it worthy of comparison to Kind Of Blue, though I'm with you, Kind Of Blue is at the top of the mountain.

And BTW, I meant no disrespect in my reply to you. And would welcome any thoughts you have on this album (CD).

Congrats on the UHQCD. Let us know how it sounds.
Will do. That's my first one. Usually Mo-FI, SHM, Blu-Spec, or XRCD, or Japanese releases. No UHQCD. I wanted to get this - A Love Supreme - SHM Paper Sleeve, but it's stated they won't play on standard CD Players.

SHM CDs play on standard CD players as I've a few of them. Hybrid SACDs play on standard CD players, but I guess that's a pure SACD disc. Bummer cause I would have loved a paper sleeved version. Did find a paper sleeved SHM version but the cost was too high as I would have also had to pay for shipping from Japan.
