Chris Barber on trombone, Dr. John on piano.
This song is by Fats Waller.
This song is by the late, great, Jimmie Rodgers.
Hey ... it's skiffle. What can I say? Van wrote this one.
This song is by A.P. Carter ... patriarch of The Carter Family.

Van does all kinds of music ... one reviewer wrote, he does "whatever he wants,
whenever he wants." This is skiffle music - what the teenagers in Britain were
playing prior to Elvis and Buddy Holly introduced them to rock 'n roll in the late
1950s ... including the Quarrymen. The music pulls from American country, folk,
blues, and jazz. Composers include Hank Williams, Lead Belly, Jimmie Rodgers,
Woody Guthrie, and Roy Acuff. You know, the old folks. The music is relaxing and
fun, and it's good to see Van taking a break from pissing and moaning about the
state of the world. That is, until his next album comes out.

Listening to Mozart's Coronation Mass
Queen - A Night At The Opera
This kid is not real. There's NO CHANCE anyone, anyone!!....... can be this good at this age. These videos are from when he was 5-15 years old. Justin is a so special and the mold was broken after he was born. Yes, I'm a HUGE fan. How can you not be? If you've never heard of him, this is Justin Lee Schultz. He WILL turn jazz upside on its head and make it more accessible to a wide range of listeners. PLEASE........watch and listen. This kid/family needs support from all music communities.
