I used to listen to 10 Years more back in the early 2000's, but haven't listened to them much since. Their new stuff is actually really good.

Very much so, as you said - Nice, Thanx and welcome aboard :")

Thank you, finbad!

🎶😌🎶

Quite a mix today I guess.

I love to listen across genres in a session. Makes for great stimulation as the approaches to musical expression are so different. The Smiths are part of my adolescent life and I still pull out their records. Joy Division being another one – Unknown Pleasures... such an icy cold zeitgeist masterpiece.

Having variety of genres is also making the single pieces much more intense for me as they are in such heavy contrast. One always comes to notice new stuff in the music as well. Its just great, I agree!

I will need to look at those other records again, thanks for reminding me:).

I posted yesterday about buying the new The Heavy album, Amen. While playing a few songs today it reminded me of another band, Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears. I Loved their album, Tell 'Em What Your Name Is! And today I bought the follow up album from 2011, Scandalous.
Not quite as relentlessly uptempo, but still pretty fun!:L3000:
