I was a big fan of Ross the Boss from when he was in the Dictators, but when 'Battle Hymns' came out, whoah! Sure wasn't expecting that, and it was awesome, complete with Orson Welles! Ross now has his own band, called 'Ross the Boss', and they sound very much like Manowar - check out 'By Blood Sworn'....

So Cinderella's first two albums are firmly in the hair/pop/glam metal, hard/sleaze rock camp, which caused many who don't like that genre (frankly I love it from time to time: it's just plain fun! have loved it since I was a child) to dismiss them as cheesy, low-talented, unserious performers. That's a shame as these two later albums are nothing more than very good ("serious") blues-oriented hard rock that I think anyone who likes that genre should like (I actually like their hair/light metal phase better as I'm not a huge fan of all out bluesy hard rock).

I won't do the cowbell joke. Great songs, as the whole Agents of Fortune recording and the groups themselves.
Thanks for skipping the cowbell. I've been a BOC fan since 1972, and they've been one of my favorite bands ever since. Such great songs through their whole career, especially with Albert Bouchard's music and Sandy Pearlman's lyrics. Imaginos, indeed....

From Winterland, San Francisco, 1974 - you won't see many other photos showing Eric's peepers! :scream:

Wow! Have you attended so many live shows you post on this chat or are you just an insatiable music lover?:)
Yeah, they are all my photos - I worked in the record business in the SF Bay Area from '74 - '84, and during that time, I often got free tickets to shows and free promo albums of just about anything I wanted. But yes indeed, going to gigs has been one of my favorite activities since 1969, and during the 70's, I brought my camera along to many of them.

It was the least I could do, way overdone, although the song here in Spain is not nearly as overplayed as must be there in San Francisco btw.

I was right, you definitely have a long path travelled in this hobby and great musical taste. Yes, indeed. Not as strong as their golden era aka Secret Treaties, their debut, the aforementioned AoF etc. Wait, I am not high, I swear I don't do drugs. Is that Bloom with his eyes uncovered?:scream:
