Studio albums 1971 - 1973. The band had just dropped the word "Jazz" from
their name, and were moving toward, as the reviewer puts it: "sophisticated
grooved out funk." Trying to attract a younger audience. There are elements
of rock, reggae, blues, jazz, R&B, and gospel ... a very nice and eclectic variety.
Electric guitars and piano are now in the mix, as well. HD800 ------------>
