ape file format huh. What are the file sizes on those and is it lossless?
Between 750-981. My jriver converts cd to it automatically. Lossless, compressed. I don't bother converting any of my cds to other formats. No discernable SQ improvements to me from an originally recorded 16/44.1 file.

Right now I'm listening to

Shostakovich - Symphony No. 10 (Rudolf Barshai conducted)

Recently I've enjoyed

Gustav Mahler - Das Lied Von Der Erde (Otto Klemperer conducted)

Martha Argerich - Ravel and Prokofiev piano recordings
