Guitar Pete - Raw Deal

A friend recommended I check out Guitar Pete Brasino, glad he did. Just on the 4th track and am enjoying it very much, this guy knows how to play. Vocals are a bit like ZZ Top. All but three songs on the disk are his compositions. Driving, wailing and melodic guitar work, check him out!

Mad Ear+ HD and Grado GS2000e make a perfect threesome.

And it's a pretty good reference album for live recording, with stellar cello, horn section, vocal harmonies, solos, high hat, drum kick. Try the first cut, Penguins, for a quirky example. Superb musicians who can play it tight.  Got tickets to see them in a small theater <1000 seats and will be interested to see how all the sound and energy works in a pretty intimate space.
