Yes it is a very good one disc compilation...I wanted some early songs that I didn't have. There must be a boxed set or something that's more comprehensive, but for one disc I think that they chose the songs well...

The album really should have been named "Guthrie Govan - Drive Home Solo (and some Steven Wilson Songs)"

what do you mean?

Nah, it was just a joke.
For me, the high-point of the album was the guitar solo in Drive Home. I'm hoping Steven uses Guthrie more liberally in the next outing.

I love Guthries playing, he is a very talented player. I wish he would release another solo album that moves in a different direction to erotic cakes. The playing on that album is great but there is only so much of it i can take. I have seen some of his jazz/funk and bluesy chops - it would be great if he explored more of that in the studio instead of being pidgeon-holed into the whole Paul Gilbert/Steve Vai thing. I hope he doesn't become just another one of those guitar player/fret melters. you know?

2 discs 2004....probably the best overall compilation out there. Solid assortment from each of their albums. One of my favorite bands from the day.

Good choice. I personally like The Warrior's Code more, but this one is still a great album.
