Yes.. a grungy, fuzzy mess. But a great album.

I think I have a way to make 'Shining Light' legible, musically. Gonna try it tomorrow. Try to make it sound like it does on the radio... but betterer.

Oh, my bad - that 'dissonant piano bashing' part was for something else altogether; I thought I'd deleted that from the top of my post..... I will be posting something about THAT later, though!!

The Beatles - Rubber Soul [2009 Stereo Remaster].jpg
The Beatles - Revolver.jpg
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band [2017 CD 1].jpg
The finest in progressive rock from the mid-1960s. First two are the 2009
remasters, and Sgt. Peppers is the Giles Martin remaster from 2017. The
Unison USB in my new Gungnir DAC provides more musical details than
did the Gen5 - for this music that means Sir George's guitar is more present
... a very good thing. HD800 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> :)

Good group, this lot. But 'Sir George' is George Martin! :)

Very different than the original >>

Makes sense, seeing as how the cover is so different, too. Cover-wise, I prefer the original - it looked much more grim, which goes along with the songs....
