In honor of recently departed legendary amp builder Alexander Dumble… (context - I am a guitarist) … example of the epitome of guitar tone from one of his amps ..

I believe I have heard both Stevie Ray Vaughn and Carlos Santana playing Dumbles. The "Overdrive Special" baby. The Pappy Van Winkle of amps. Even the best guitarists lust after them and can rarely acquire them. Oh, and you need their money too and that doesn't necessarily matter. I hope Mr. Dumble had an apprentice by his side...RIP to a master of his craft...
