Great late 60's UK folk rock. I love the guitar.

Thanks for posting this @OceanRanger
Nick Drake was a very special artist.
He barely achieved any success in the UK while he was alive and died, aged just 26, in 1974.
It was a tragic waste.
It wasn't until years after his death that his outstanding talent was finally recognised.
John Martyn wrote the brilliant song 'Solid Air' about Nick in 1973.
I love 'Five Leaves Left' and his two subsequent albums 'Bryter Later' from 1971 and 'Pink Moon' from 1972.
I will have a listen this evening

Herlin Riley - Perpetual Optimism.jpg
Herlin's 2016 and 2019 studio albums, following his break with Jazz at Lincoln
Center and Wynton Marsalis after so many years. Funky, soulful jazz with of
course excellent drumming. HD800 ------------------------------------------> :)

ps. I first learnt about Herlin Riley on the NPR program "Fresh Air," back in 2019.
They were reviewing the Perpetual Optimism album. After that, I bought the album
and then went back in time to acquire more of his music. Here's the NPR link, FYI.

I appreciate your comments @Les Strat. I have read about Nick Drake's history. It is tragic. I was first exposed to his work when watching the movie Garden State. Zach Braff directed, played a leading role and curated the music for this film. The soundtrack for this movie is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard and includes One of These Things First. Mental health is a core tenant of the film. I am currently listening to Pink Moon. I'll find Solid Air. Thanks again for your comments.
