I bought this album because it’s supposed to be one of the best sounding SD CD. It’s the Canadian version, MCA 6008. Do the songs on this particular CD sound better ? I couldn’t tell you to be honest but it’s SD and to say I love their music is an understatemt. :L3000:

@Les Strat I haven't heard the Sweet/Hoffs album but will give it a shot. Sweet's 100% Fun and Girlfriend are favorites of mine.

@Roy G. Biv Hope you like it.
I like Different Drum as much as Linda Ronstadt’s original!
I have most of Matthew Sweet’s albums and saw him live in the early 90s.
Girlfriend is probably my favourite album.
Bought it when it was released.
The later, remastered version sounds a lot better ( in my opinion).
Worth listening to Altered Beast too if you haven’t already done so; probably my second favourite album of his.

It could be either a Radiophonic Workshop superb release, or a STEREOLAB classic from the past .......
NEVERTHELESS..... cult record label "Russian Library" did it again!!!.........A haunting record full of memories from the past.....
