Continuing our Blues road trip, stopped in Holly Ridge MS to visit Charlie Patton's grave. Essential in the history of the Delta Blues.

By the way, not necessarily the order of the trip, just as I rip a new CD to listen to through Roon. This CD is real raw, some tunes are barely listenable but worth the effort if you like the history.

Mainly listening to the version of Tarkus on this. There's a point in the song around the 18:30 mark where Carl Palmer starts having a drum clinic. Honestly it makes me think of Danny Carey in a way. He's just going through so many tasty fills while Keith Emerson is noodling away on the keys. I basically tune that out and focus on Carl completely.
