Been gone a while, had catching up to do. Kingfish is a terrific talent, anxious to see it grow. Allman Betts keeping the Brothers alive. I enjoy the Boss and the new album was a great addition to the catalogue. Slim and Toure a nice journey to the past. Forgot the new Keb Mo album, he is just plain fantastic in writing and playing.

Well done, Joe! Welcome back ... now you just need the Keb' Mo' album that @whirlwind posted above ... Kevin moved to Nashville
at one point, not sure why, but most established musicians move here for the song writers, producers and session musicians :)

Taj Mahal, Keb' Mo' - TajMo.jpg
2018 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. Uber-engaging.
Bonnie Raitt, Joe Walsh, Sheila E. and Lizz Wright are guest artists.

Keb' Mo' - Oklahoma.jpg
Keb' Mo's 2019 album Oklahoma ... inspired when Kevin visited and saw the destruction
caused by tornados. Great production & relevant topics. I anticipate a 2020 Grammy award.
Guest artists include Rosanne Cash, Taj Mahal and Robert Randolph (pedal steel guitar).
Thanks for the idea @whirlwind et al.

Extra time, so a bit of lagniappe for y'all ...

HD800 ---> :)

This is my go to Johnny Winter album. Released in 2004. Johnny has played rock, blues rock,but this is Johnny at his best IMO.
I loved this album on my first listen.
Besides, it has the Monkey song on it and who doesn't like blues songs about monkey's :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
The monkey song was written by Ken Howell, yep, the same Ken Howell that once pitched for the Dodgers and Phillies.
I got a great chuckle from this song upon first listen.
"Make That Puppy Shine" !!!
