Wynton Marsalis on trumpet. Victor Goines on reeds. Uber musicality.
Herlin's rhythms are NO-based; his last job was with Jazz at Lincoln Center.


2019 studio album with a new bunch of (younger) NYC musicians. Herlin is now age 62.
Add to the NYC sound Herlin's New Orleans rhythms. Snarky, sublime and engaging.


Before I end this session, needed a Blast from the maestro of the electric bass.
