Finally getting to the 2nd session - Oct 8, 1973 - this music is much better than the Oct 1 session.
There are more mics and they are better-placed...the vocals are more forward.
Just smile when the banjo kicks in...and imagine Jerry Garcia's big grin....
Time for the Good 'Ol Boys...some great songs here!

Listened to this all the way through over the weekend with Tidal. I was impressed with he clarity of the recording and the whole tenor of the live sessions. Not like many live in a small venue recording I've listened to in the past. Cheers to all who recommended it. When Tidal went to radio mode, I just kept listening to bluegrass and enjoyed the moment. Loved it!
