You're right in their strongest time frame IMO. Especially if you add the next two releases.

Ooh, new leads ☺ I definitely have to look into Old and in the Way, I'm a big Jerry Garcia fan.

It was first posted by @sciman111 last Monday.
I purchased thru Amazon and it's great music (if you like bluegrass). Jerry on banjo, Vassar Clements on fiddle, Peter Rowan on guitar, Dawg Grisman on mandolin.
The band did only a few shows before dissolving back into their other projects.
There were four live sessions recorded: two each on October 1st and 8th, 1973, by Kid Charlemagne.
These sessions were made into four CD's.
The first CD released, in 1975 and entitled Old & In The Way, was the biggest-selling bluegrass album of all time, until Oh Brother, Where Art Thou came along.
(Read...all of a sudden, it was cool to listen to bluegrass because Jerry was playing it!)
I wanted to buy that one, but it's collectable and $115 new on Amazon!
Here's the best deal I could find...all four CD's in one package, new for $35. Get the one that says "The Complete Shows."
Happy Listening!
