Gil Evan's first album after his extensive collaboration with Miles Davis. Much less orchestrated, stunningly rhythmic and full of surprises. Also sound-wise, extremely good recording, despite being released in 1960! A great album!

Tony Allen - Tony Allen - Film of Life.jpg
Described by Brian Eno as "perhaps the greatest drummer who has ever lived."
The music is called Afrobeat...complex, funky sound. It's very forward music, ahead
of the beat at times, as is the drumming. The kit has nice presence and great sound.
Thanks @Pietro Cozzi Tinin!

Tab Benoit - The Sea Saint Sessions.jpg
Great studio album by the king of Louisiana bayou delta blues.
Clearly shows Tab's playing style - almost, but not quite, out of control. :)
GMB - BHA-1 - Wywires Platinum - HD800
