One of the best! Glad to see them belatedly in the Rock and Roll HOF.

I was only really "into" the Moody Blues briefly. I own a few of their albums on vinyl but haven't listened to them in a long time. Their performance at the Rock Hall induction ceremony was my favorite of the night. What's with Mark Knopfler? I'm very disappointed that he refused to participate!

My thoughts on the Moody Blues are skewed. i spent hours in college listening to the first 6 albums in continuous rotation with the likes of Buffalo Springfield, Neil Young, Poco, The Stones and Beatles and early Steve Miller(before his 70's pop stuff). I was usually inebriated, probably not with beer. I even got engaged listening to Nights in White Satin in '71. Saw them in the 80's with Stevie Ray Vaughan. Saw them again last summer for the 50th anniversary of Days of Future Passed. So, I'm biased but was really glad the oversight was finally rectified.

Final thought, the hall needs to figure out a way to get some of these groups in the hall before most are dead, or the lead singer cannot hold up his end(listening Ric Ocasek?).

Enuf pontificating. Enjoy your tunes.
