I had been spending time comparing the HD800 and the LCD-X through my Cumby/MJ2 combo, but lately have been just listening with one or the other and enjoying what they each bring to the music.  Just listened to a couple of these cello suites with the LCD-X and found they were gorgeous and rich.  Deep bass almost like a tuba on some final notes and articulate, beautiful progressions all across the scales.  I've benefited from such privilege to have this equipment and find that staggering in its own right, but I'm grateful.
