This has grown on me a ton since the first few listens.  Still 100% goofy, but the whole "too slow and boring" thing I was complaining about is no longer a bad thing at all.

I don't really listen to much classic R&B, but I'm still surprised that I was completely unaware of this record. I'll have to go find a copy.

it is a wonderful album, I listen to it about once every month or so.

Currently driving north to Trondheim and an alumni festival for my Alma Mater - well, right now, stuck on a ferry and checking out head-fi.

Listening to Cocteau Twins and their wonderful Heaven or Las Vegas.

Coming up - The Stone Roses, Kleiber's LvB 5th,Joe Strummer & The Mescaleroes - Streetcore. Oh, and Miles Davis. Kind of Blue. By the time it is done, I guess I'm just about to arrive.
