-If you find them to be to your liking, I'd recommend you give their previous band, The Margarets, a listen.
 
Their 2002 debut, 'What kept you?' is basically a love letter to '60s British pop music. (My mother, not the largest pop music fan, observed that one of their singles - 'Spoonful of Love', if memory serves - would do nicely as the soundtrack to the ITV TV series 'Heartbeat'. Now, if that is a good thing or not I'll leave to others to decide. :))

Pointless trivia alert! 'Heartbeat' was based on books written by our (now retired) village policeman.
 
And although the books are a lot better than the ITV series, the real village isn't quite as picturesque as Goathland, where they filmed it.
