Sarcasm or not i plan on getting this album. Been listening to 2001 and just in awe how well mastered it is and how much detail I've never heard before in my lesser systems/poor encoding back in high school.
Totally don't expect the new one to be mastered well but a surprise would be nice.

A brass-heavy listening session.
The Testament reissue of Richard Strauss' Alpine Symphony (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra/Rudolf Kempe). This is an excellent disc, which also includes Strauss' Horn Concerto, with Alan Civil as soloist.

Quite a contrast. I prefer the Alpine with Karajan/Berlin Phil. Glorious and peaceful.
