The Decemberists  - The Crane Wife

-Excellent choice; I listened to their latest album, 'What a terrible world, what a beautiful world' just now (Great, but not quite up there with 'The Crane Wife' IMHO) - and now I've just put on their live album from a couple of years ago.

Cloud Nothings-Here and Nowhere Else (2014) Don't tell me there are no good punk bands anymore before you listen to this. SQ is rough around the edges.

Backside of the album due to profanity-Trap Them (metallic hardcore)-Blissfuxxer-the album that most consistently kicked my arse last year.

And my required audiophile listening

Rolling Stones-Sticky Fingers (one of my favorite Stones albums for sure) and Steely Dan-Pretzel Logic

Tesseract-Altered States-pretty good progressive metal album with a lot of rock crossover

Ash Borer-Cold of Ages-USBM

Lord Mantis-Death Mask-I will spare you the cover-one of the most twisted albums I've heard and one of my favorite heavy releases from 2014.

Compared to her latest solo album, how would you say Obadiah sounds? I own Indian Ocean and I honestly haven't been that impressed by it, but I want to find some of her solo material that I can enjoy as much as I enjoy her work with the band.
