The organ coming in on the 'The Launch' makes for an amazing sound, then 'Cool the Engines' just hurtles along.

I bought it on vinyl when it was first released, but my room-mate at school somehow managed to get hair mousse on the LP and it never played properly afterwards. I bought it again on CD only a few years ago.

Hair mousse on a record? Sounds like something that would happen in the mid-1980's

Just finished listening to the EP "No Drum and Bass in the Jazz Room" by Clever Girl.  Highly recommended if you're into math rock with a lighter attitude, and a bit of a pop vibe.

Currently listening to the Bent Knee album "Shiny Eyed Babies."  Fell in love with this band.  This is also my #1 pick for album of the year of 2014.

Listening to The Decemberists' latest:

Haven't quite made up my mind yet as to what I think of it - it definitely is good, but it needs to grow a bit on me if I am to consider it to be among their best efforts...

Next up is Iiro Rantala's excellent 'Lost Heroes'.
