Carmen Gomes Inc. - Torn

Not much to say about this great recording from 2012. Vocal jazz with a mellow and easy going sound and one of the best recordings I have the pleasure of listening new in the last few months. Amazing on either speaker or headphones!

  One of my Favorite albums!

I think you may have recommended this set to me when I posted Black Codes or J-Mood and I've been looking for it ever since. It's a really strong body of work.

First listen, believe it or not. Will post impressions on it sometime soon.

If you have not heard the album Green Street by Grant Green, there's a jazz guitar album I can recommend. For solo guitar, Virtuoso by Joe Pass is also recommended listening. I find the story behind Joe Pass's virtuosity a quite sad story.
