The Minghus album you're talking about is the anniversary edition? There are 3 versions on Spotify, one that has these after where the other two ends.

This version of Mingus Ah Um has the benefit of a second CD with two additional albums. I return to this album after listening to a lot of other jazz classics this year. I can now appreciate what a great work this is. What a great jazz album!

It's a 2010 import. It's Mingus Ah Um and two additional albums on disc II-'The Clown', and 'Pithecanthropus Erectus'.

I'd like to know too. I would imagine that it's very well recorded, being that most of his albums had especially good quality. When I listen to "Black or White" on the album "Dangerous" I still sometimes get the sensation that someone is actually pounding on my door in the intro of the song.
