I'm currently listening to the free Tokyo Bliss podcast episode 15 mixed by Kyohei Akagawa. His remix of KIWAMU's Rest is playing right now. It's still one of my favorite tracks of all time. Just perfect. The whole Rest EP is brilliant. I can't wait for Kyohei Akagawa's new EP to come out on the 4th of December, my cousin's birthday!

One of the great joys for me this year in my headfi and, uh stereofi (uh, speakers people)-is picking up remasters of music from my young years. I was 11 in 1976 when  Wings Over America rolled into town.

I was thrilled to stumble on this at Best Buys-Wings Over America-remastered in 2013.....Really....hell, yes!!

I know some of you must have rocked to the three album release back in the day.

I just gotta say....sounds great...so many memories...this album has been written off by some critics as mediocre music played well. I couldn't disagree more. You have to sort of forget about the Beatles. No-this isn't Abbey Road-but it is one of the truly great, classic live classic rock albums ever....IMO

Wings Over America....you get vintage McCartney doing some Beatles tunes, and pretty much most of the Wings catalog (Band on the Run, Venus and Mars, etc.)

They rocked a little harder than the Fab Four and also have some lovely accousticish numbers.
