Great album. By the way, since you are a fan of the record, HDTracks has it available in 96 / 24 released in 2012. I have the 96 / 24 version, and it sounds great to me. I also own the Redbook CD, but it is in a storage unit in a different city so I can't do a direct comparison. I downloaded the 96 / 24 since I didn't have access to my CD. Maybe you can do some Googling to find out if the 96 / 24 is worth it.

Thanks for the recommendation, StratocasterMan. I did hear that an SACD release had been available, so I'll probably hunt for it first before I resort to HDTracks.

It is a great album for the HD800's...

Yes it is! Especially the Blue Blue Sky reprise at the end. That lone acoustic guitar with hand drumming, then the transition to the strings starting low and rising up and away - and when that deep resonant bass comes in... Heavenly!

96/24 off HDTracks.  Seen live on this very tour.  Steve Miller Band, REO Speedwagon, and Foreigner played at the same venue.  They were no match for Thin Lizzy one of the best live bands I've ever seen.
