Thanks SM. listening to this now on Spotify.

I hope you enjoyed it. I've had that record for several years and I do find myself coming back to it. It makes good "road music." I drove 18-wheelers for five years running 48 states, and that record always reminds me of trucking in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, etc. I first saw Ryan Bingham on Austin City Limits, and Joe Ely joined him onstage for "Southside Of Heaven." I'm sure you could find that Austin City Limits performance online somewhere...

Listening to the first CD of the boxed set: Vivaldi: Complete Sacred Music (Hyperion) conducted by Robert King and performed by the King's Consort. Absolutely superb!

Always loved Vivaldi's baroque operas, didn't know about the sacred music. Magdalena Kozena singing against the oboe in "Veni, Veni me Sequere Fida" is spine tingling:

The Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet SACD

I'll ask the same question I always ask around here. What do you think Jagger says at the beginning of "Stray Cat Blues" just before the real first line, which is definitely "I hear the click-clack of your feet on the stairs..." There is an "Ahhhh," probably not by Jagger, and then what? "Yeah, yeah, cut some tail..." Or what? What does Jagger say just before the real first line of the song? I'd like to know your interpretation of that spoken snippet before the real first line of "Stray Cat Blues."

Such a killer record!
