Dire Straits' 1979 album 'Communique'

I bought Dire Straits' first album when it came out in 1978 and loved the band.
Saw them live in about '79 and also in '82.
After Brothers in Arms came out, despite its huge success, Dire Straits became very 'uncool' in the UK.
I haven't listened to the band for a very long time, but recently revisited the first album and now this one.
I had forgotten just how good this one is.
The whole of what was 'side one' on vinyl, is brilliant:
'Once Upon a Time in the West'
'News'
'Where Do You Think You're Going?'
'Communiqué'

This is probably my favourite:

John Prine - Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings.jpg
Sam Bush - King of My World.jpg
Two old friends ... both the artists and these albums. John Prine was a great
and humorous songwriter. Sam Bush is the "Mother of Bluegrass" as proclaimed
by Bill Monroe himself. Both of 'em are slanted a tad bit sideways. As stated by
the all-knowing @Baldr, John Prine was a success because he didn't take
himself too seriously.
