John Martyn - Solid Air 1973  180 Gram Vinyl

What do you think of the album now that you have it for a while? I really do love "solid air"

I never seen a 180 gram copy before - fair play

If you're in the mood for something weird from Denver's independent music scene...

Hell yeah! That Ane Brun album is awesome.

John Coltrane - Sun Ship

I have somewhere around thirty John Coltrane albums so far, but this one has for some reason been missing from my collection for far too long. I saw it at my local record store for a reasonable price so I thought it was finally time to remedy that. Giving it its first audition now. For some reason I've always though this album was one of Coltrane's sessions with a larger ensemble, but it is in fact a date with his classic quartet featuring McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison and Elvin Jones.

Edit:
Oh wow, Elvin Jones' playing is exceptionally good on this date. Holy smokes! And of course I don't need to tell you that McCoy Tyner is on fire as always. Currently listening to track three "Amen" and it is phenomenal.

Edit 2:
So yeah, I've listened to the album three times now. I like it a lot. A lot.

John Frusciante - Curtains [SHM-CD]

My second John Frusciante album as well as my second SHM-CD. Very different from "The Empyrean". Difficult to say if I like it or not. Very loud mastering as is typical of Japanese CDs. I'm not sure why I got the SHM-CD instead of the regular CD issue, to be honest. Probably simply because I could, I guess.
