Ok how should I listen to it?
Ok how should I listen to it?
So I just got the Um Pro 50s but they sound the same as my Um 2s with the same tips. Does burning in the cable really help? Kind of confused here since I thought I would be able to really tell the difference in sound but so far I haven't. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
As opposed to the w60 which sounded much more lively, dynamic and enjoyable. but for 400usd extra i couldn't bring myself to purchase it
Has anyone tried both UM 20 PRO and UM 30 PRO? I wonder if the difference of them remains the same as the previous generation UM2 vs UM3X - former is said to be more "fun". latter is more analytical and feels like a studio monitor.
I've not heard the pro 20, but if they were like the UM2, then they should sound a bit dull and less detailed than the pro 30. I personally think the Pro 30 are the best valued for money out of the current Westone series.
There is a difference of approx. USD 120 between 20 pro and 30 prop where I live. Anyway I have been using my UM2 for more than 2 years and as of now I have not got the motivation to buy 30 pro. For I bought my UM2 second-hand and it looked antique enough I may only sell it for much less than 100 bucks. So getting 30 prop would be pricey with probably insignificant improvement to the SQ.
Can anyone elaborate (sorry if this has been asked before)on the difference between quality in the old UM3/2 series and the new UM PRO? I feel as if the mmcx cable looks weaker than the old two prong. I was considering upgrading to the UM50 but the build quality is something I want to know about compared to the past UM3x series which had incredibly high quality bodies and cables.
