I agree. I've been on a pre order list since these were first announced. I went and ordered the UM2's awhile back and am extremely happy. However, I really do believe that these will be coming out in the next 3-4 months. When they do, I have a feeling they'll be well worth the wait.

Thanks for the advice. I never actually considered this option, but will now. I see that there are a number of offices I can go to near my house in order to get the molds. How much (approximately) can I expect to pay for them?

Some places will do the impressions for free if you buy the UM56 through them for the $110 retail price. Other places do the impressions separately for $50. Call around Westone's list of audiologists (Ones on the list are more familiar with the process).

edit: and just to clarify...you don't need molds, you need impressions from your audiologist.

i've heard quite of few stories of audiologists giving free or cheap molds once you make the trip to their office. you could always look up local offices and see what the cost would be.

Westone 3 is my worst disappointment so far. month and month.... maybe year after year of waiting.... maybe it will be out in 2020, when others already used 6-10 drivers...
